I just wanted to take a minute to let you know how much we appreciate and value Sha’Toya, our son Sam’s speech therapist. She truly has had her hands full with him. He is a very active four and a half year old, who has been spoiled completely rotten. He likes things his way and on his time, as I am sure most four year olds do. She is always patient and loving with him. When she has to mean business she does that too, but never in a mean or demeaning way. I wish I had half the parenting skills that she seems to have. She makes speech fun by alternating short play periods with work periods and always praises him for his efforts. We have truly enjoyed getting to know her and watching the wonderful progress she has made with Sam. I always wondered why people were sad to say goodbye to the therapist when speech was no longer needed, now I know. They become part of your family.
I just wanted to make you aware of the wonderful, professional therapist you have in Ms. Sha’Toya. We are very grateful for the opportunity we have had to have her as Sam’s therapist. I was very worried at first with trusting a stranger with my little boy but she put every one of those fears to rest.
Thank you for all that you do for children, especially for Sam,” Kim and Jacob Eramie
